PDF Processing made
easy
To program the processing of PDF files, a high performance
library that will not let you down under the tough demands of
every day usage, is essential. DynaPDF was developed
precisely for this purpose. Extremely stable and reliable in all
situations, regardless whether for client or server systems, DynaPDF always delivers optimal performance. |

with DynaPDF every task is simple, whether on Windows,
Linux, Unix, or Mac OSX. DynaPDF offers also reliable
functions to extract contents from PDF files, such as
text, images, or vector graphics. In addition, DynaPDF
offers powerful functions to render PDF pages or entire
PDF files to images. Ready
viewer examples demonstrate how easy it is to integrate
a PDF viewer into your applications. An intelligent page

DynaPDF 3.0 is available |
|
|
The development of DynaPDF 3.0 was infinitely
arduous and more difficult than originally planned.
Actually DynaPDF 3.0 should already be released
almost exactly one year ago, but the time was not
yet ripe, too many restrictions had to be removed...
It should be possible to develop a PDF viewer with
DynaPDF, a viewer that delivers outstanding
performance! This is of course only possible if the
library works at the highest level regarding memory
usage, access time to arbitrary pages, or for
example repairing damaged PDF files.
That was impossible with the old code base, the PDF
import had to be developed from scratch, just like
the rendering engine.
The wait was worth, I think. New is first of all, as
already described above, the PDF import. The new
parser repairs damaged files, imports PDF files of
any size, and it is finally possible to render PDF
files.
Viewer examples are available in C#, Delphi, and
Visual Basic .Net. We have a new memory management,
so that also the largest PDF file can be processed,
of course with minimal memory usage.
In addition, there are transparency groups, soft
masks, support for images with an alpha channel, a
better font handling, full support of Tagged PDF
files, the EMF converter is better than ever before,
it is now already included in DynaPDF Lite, and,
and, and...
BTW - DynaPDF 3.0 is already released since more
than 5 months. However, only a small group of users
could access the new version, especially the
RealBasic users who became not really voluntarily
the test users.
Thank you very much, especially to all RealBasic
users, who have helped in the recent months to
eliminate the last errors, and especially to
Christian Schmitz from
MonkeyBread Software, without his effort it
would have certainly taken a little longer.
The free upgrade offer for users who have purchased
a DynaPDF 2.5 license after April 26, 2010 is still
valid. |
